As we prepare to submit our full UK City of Culture 2029 bid next week, we’re proud to share our new film. Created by Global Fire, it celebrates the people and places at the heart of Portsmouth.
From Portsdown Hill to Southsea Market, from Spinnaker Tower to Fratton Park and neighbourhoods all across the city, this film captures the energy, ambition and pride that make Pompey unlike anywhere else.
Featuring some well-known Pompey faces including Commodore Marcel Rosenberg, Naval Base Commander Portsmouth; Paulsgrove community leader Duke Harrison-Hunter; former Portsmouth FC player Linvoy Primus; artists My Dog Sighs and Samo; Southsea Markets founder Lulu Whitmore and more.
