Join us on Thursday 30th July 2026 at Treadgolds, Portsmouth, arrival 5.30pm for an evening that brings together Portsmouth’s creative community to help shape our UK City of Culture 2029 Bid.

The UK City of Culture programme represents an incredible opportunity, with the potential to unlock over £10 million of investment into Portsmouth’s cultural future. As artists, makers, performers, designers, writers, musicians and creatives, your voice is an essential part of that journey.

If you’re unable to join us in person, we’d still love for you to take part. The four bid icons are to the right on this page, and we warmly invite you to create a response in your own medium and email it to ben@portsmouthcreates.co.uk, or bring it along if you’re able to attend the event.

As this is an active UK City of Culture Bid, and we are in a competition, we also ask everyone attending to sign the accompanying Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) found in the form. We know, it sounds very serious, but it helps us protect the ideas and discussions that will be shared throughout the evening.
